Privacy at Shoperize.

This notice explains how Shoperize handles information through its Shopify application, storefront shopping assistant, Help Center, marketing website, and early-access waitlist. Contact hello@shoperize.com with a privacy question or request.

Business identity

Shoperize is operated by NextGen Software LLC in the United States. NextGen Software LLC is the service provider and app developer for Shoperize Price Calculator and the related Shoperize services described in this notice.

Our role

A Shopify merchant decides how Shoperize is used on its store and is responsible for its relationship with shoppers. Shoperize processes merchant and shopper information to provide the service on the merchant's behalf. Shoppers can also contact the merchant directly about store-specific privacy choices.

Information the Shopify app processes

After a merchant installs Shoperize, the app processes the minimum data needed for enabled features. This can include store identity and staff authorization; products, variants, collections, prices, inventory, locations, approved metafields, policies, and selected site content; agent configuration; subscription and usage status; support requests; and security and operational logs.

The shopping assistant processes conversation messages, an opaque browser session identifier, product and cart context, tool results, and feedback. If a shopper chooses to provide contact information, request a transcript, sign in through Shopify, or ask about an order, Shoperize can process the minimum contact, customer, order, fulfillment, and destination information needed for that request. Typing an email or order number into chat does not verify identity or unlock order data.

How we use information

We use this information to synchronize store knowledge, answer shopper questions, recommend and compare products, run merchant-configured calculators, prepare confirmed cart actions, support human handoff, secure the service, enforce plan limits, troubleshoot failures, and report merchant-level usage and outcomes. Shoperize does not sell merchant or shopper personal information and does not use one merchant's conversations to train a shared Shoperize model for other merchants.

Service providers and connected services

Shoperize uses Shopify to authenticate stores and perform authorized commerce actions; Cloudflare for application delivery, security, and the D1 database used by Shoperize Price Calculator; Neon for encrypted database hosting used by other Shoperize services; OpenAI for enabled AI responses; Resend for enabled email delivery; Chatwoot for merchant-initiated support chat; and Grafana Cloud for bounded operational metrics. A merchant may separately connect services such as Slack, Zendesk, or Klaviyo. Those services process only the information needed for the feature the merchant enables and are also governed by their own terms and privacy notices.

Retention and deletion

Storefront conversations, saved shopper preferences, detailed answer traces, and detailed MCP events are normally removed after 90 days. Short-lived delivery, webhook, and security records have shorter retention periods where practical. Bounded numeric usage, billing, audit, and aggregate commerce records can be retained longer when needed for contracts, accounting, security, and service integrity. Shopify's required customer and shop privacy requests are supported; uninstalling disables the store, and the subsequent Shopify shop redaction process removes tenant data subject to legally required records and provider backup lifecycles.

Security and international processing

Shoperize encrypts protected credentials and personal data in transit and at rest, separates production and test environments, restricts staff and tenant access, verifies Shopify and provider webhooks, and records administrative actions. Shoperize and its providers primarily process data in the United States, so information can be transferred from the country where a merchant or shopper is located.

Your choices and requests

Depending on applicable law, merchants and shoppers may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction. Shoppers should usually contact the store first so the merchant can verify and submit the request. Merchants and website visitors can contact hello@shoperize.com. We may verify the requester before acting. Shoperize does not require a shopper account to provide general shopping help, and optional contact collection does not subscribe a shopper to marketing.

Website and waitlist

The marketing website and signup service use Vercel. A waitlist signup includes the email address, optional store URL or shopping challenge, signup date, page and campaign attribution, and consent to receive early-access updates. A private Google Sheets copy can be used for follow-up. The website uses Microsoft Clarity for aggregated interaction analytics and Google Fonts for font delivery. Interactive demos use fictional data and do not send demo questions to the live AI service. You can unsubscribe or request deletion by emailing hello@shoperize.com.

We will update this notice when Shoperize's data practices or service providers materially change and will revise the date above.
