Shoperize terms of service.
These terms govern use of the Shoperize Shopify application, storefront shopping assistant, Help Center, and website. By installing or using Shoperize for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that business. Shoperize is provided by NextGen Software LLC, a United States limited liability company. Questions can be sent tohello@shoperize.com.
The service
Shoperize helps merchants configure an AI-assisted shopping experience, synchronize approved Shopify information, answer shopper questions, recommend products, run deterministic buying tools, prepare cart actions, and hand conversations to store staff. Features depend on the merchant's Shopify configuration, granted permissions, plan, and connected providers.
Merchant responsibilities
Merchants are responsible for their products, prices, inventory, policies, calculator rules, recommendation controls, staff access, connected services, and communications with shoppers. Merchants must provide accurate source information, review proposed configuration, obtain required notices or consent, and use Shoperize in compliance with applicable law and Shopify's terms. Shoperize must not be used to expose another person's data, mislead shoppers, send unlawful messages, or perform prohibited or abusive activity.
AI and commerce actions
AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Shoperize uses merchant data, structured tools, live Shopify checks, confirmations, and human handoff to reduce that risk, but merchants remain responsible for reviewing the experience they publish. Prices, availability, shipping, taxes, and delivery remain subject to Shopify and the merchant's checkout. The assistant does not change a cart unless the shopper confirms an available action and Shopify reports the result.
Plans, trials, and billing
Paid plans, included usage, and any trial are shown on Shopify's hosted pricing page before approval. Shopify bills the merchant and manages plan changes and cancellation. Shoperize does not automatically create usage overage charges; when an included AI allowance is reached, paid AI responses stop and the conversation can be routed to the store team. Fees already incurred remain payable under Shopify's billing terms.
Merchant content and account access
Merchants retain their rights in store content and conversations. They grant Shoperize permission to process that content only as needed to provide, protect, support, and improve the merchant's service. Merchants must protect Shopify and connected-account access, assign appropriate staff roles, and promptly revoke access that is no longer needed.
Third-party services
Shopify and optional connected providers operate under their own terms. Shoperize is not responsible for a provider's independent service, outage, policy, or data. Provider availability can limit related Shoperize features; the app may fail closed or offer human help rather than claim an action succeeded.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Shoperize secure and available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update features, security controls, usage limits, and these terms. Material plan changes are shown before they apply through Shopify or communicated to affected merchants. Early-access features may change or be withdrawn.
Suspension and termination
A merchant can uninstall Shoperize or cancel a paid plan through Shopify. We may restrict access to protect stores and shoppers, respond to legal requirements, prevent abuse, or address unpaid service. Privacy and deletion requests continue to be handled after termination as described in the privacy notice.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, Shoperize is provided as available and without implied warranties. Shoperize is not the merchant of record and does not control the merchant's products, fulfillment, returns, or shopper relationship. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
